

Two men drowned after they were caught up in a strong current while swimming in the Indian Ocean in Mombasa on Wednesday afternoon.
Confirming the incident, Mombasa Police Commandant Johnstone Ipara said the two aged 20 and 21, were swimming near the Fort Jesus area.
Their bodies were pulled out of the waters and taken to the Coast General Hospital Mortuary.
According to the police boss, at least six people among them four fishermen, have perished in the ocean in the recent past.
He urged the residents to exercise caution when moving into the ocean.
