Take responsibility if anything happens to Joho, Kingi- Mudavadi
Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi has told the government to take full responsibility should anything happen to Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho and his Kilifi counterpart Amason Kingi after their security detail was withdrawn.
Mudavadi says the Jubilee administration is taking security of leaders casually, adding that the move by the violates the rights of the two governors.
Speaking in Garissa while opening ANC offices in the area, Mudavadi urged residents of the Northern region to kick out the Jubillee administration during 2017 general elections.
He says that the Jubilee government has failed to tackle rampant corruption in the country.
On Thursday, Joho said that his bodyguards had been withdrawn without any explanation.
Joho said that all his guards, including those at his home, had been withdrawn. He, however, denied allegations that they assaulted and stripped a woman accused of bribing voters in the recently concluded Malindi by-lections.
