Tanzania Pledges Support for Kenya in Combating Terror

Mr. Burian said that Tanzania will work closely with Kenya to combat terrorism which threatens regional growth.

Speaking in a meeting with Deputy President William Ruto, Burian said radicalization of youth was to blame for increased terror activities in East Africa.

The Tanzanian High Commissioner added that Tanzania would back Kenya as she intensifies the anti terror war, coming after the Garissa University College attack that left 148 people dead.

Ruto indicated Kenya has intensified efforts in the fight against terrorism and called for concerted efforts to tackle the global challenge head on.
