Urithi launches Nyumba Mia initiative in Juja

Over the years escalating land prices and high cost of mortgages have impeded many Kenyans from attaining their dream of owning a home.

It is for this reason that the cooperative movement has stepped in to help narrow the housing gap in the country estimated at over 150 thousand units annually.

One such co-operative is the Urithi Housing Co-Operative Society which has launched an initiative dubbed “Nyumba Mia initiative” that seeks to build 1000 homes in across the country every year.
