Teacher and her two daughters arrested for beating 27-year-old caretaker in Ugenya

A 37-year-old primary school teacher and her two daughters are being held at Ukwala police station over the mysterious death of a 27-year-old man at Ukwala trading center in Ugenya.

Vivian Rebecca and her two kids were arrested on Tuesday evening after allegations of fighting with the deceased, Davine Otieno.

Citizen Digital understands that the deceased’s body was found lying on a footpath near the apartment where he had been working as janitor.

Ugenya sub-county Police Commander Willy Simba told Radio Ramogi that they had been tipped off by a witness who said that a man had been beaten to death by three women.

He explained that officers who were dispatched to the scene found the body of Otieno which did not have any visible injuries.

According to neighbors however, the deceased is said to have stopped the teacher’s daughters from hanging clothes on the fence of the plot where he was the caretaker prompting an argument.

In the escalating argument Ms Rebecca joined her daughters with the trio proceeding to beat Otieno to death.

The body of the deceased was removed to the Ukwala sub-county mortuary awaiting a post-mortem.

In the meantime, the three suspects are in custody awaiting their arraignment in court
