Teacher arrested for allegedly defiling Form 2 girl in Bungoma

A teacher suspected of defiling a student at Moi Girls School Kamusinga was on Tuesday evening arrested by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Bungoma county.

According to a tweet by the DCI, the suspect, Willy Wanyonyi Musikali, had been on the run since June this year when he allegedly committed the offense.

“A teacher-Willy Wanyonyi Musikali suspected of defiling a student of Moi Girls High School Kamusinga in June 2018 and has been on the run, was arrested yesterday in Bungoma by Detectives,”read the tweet.

The suspect is alleged to have summoned the 14-year-old Form Two girl in the staff room where he began by making sexual advances before defiling her.

“He called me to the staff room where he told me he had missed me. I made it clear to him that he was my teacher and the only relationship we could have was teacher-student. He then grabbed me, bent me over and raped me,” she had reported.

The suspect is now facing charges of defilement.
