Teacher commits suicide over marital problems

A primary school teacher has committed suicide in Kiptenden village, Koibatek Sub County by hanging herself over domestic issues.

The 49-year-old woman was found by neighbors, who claim she had tried to commit suicide four times before.

They also allege that the teacher had differences with her husband who apparently slept in a different room.

Koibatek sub-county deputy police boss, Jonathan Wafula, confirmed the incident saying that the Police have launched investigations into the 6pm incident.

The body of the deceased has been moved to Eldama-Ravine Sub-County Hospital mortuary awaiting a postmortem.
