Teacher in court for sodomising teen

A 59-year-old teacher at Dunya Primary School in Bondo Sub-County was arraigned in a Bondo court for allegedly sodomising a 14 year-old-boy.

The suspect, Peter Obiero Onyango, faced a charge of intentionally and unlawfully sodomising the minor who is a child of his neighbor and a pupil at the nearby Bar-Muofu primary school.

The court heard that on July 2, 2015 at around 8pm at Bar Muofu Village, within Bondo Township location, the accused lured the 14 year-old boy to his farm where he committed the beastly act.

The accused, who appeared before Bondo Principal Magistrate Moses Obiero, denied the charges before he was released on a bond of Sh200, 000 with a surety of similar amount.

The case will be heard on July 15, 2015.
