Tharaka Nithi Governor, MCAs ditch Jubilee Party

Tharaka Nithi Governor, Samuel Ragwa, his deputy, Eliud Mate Muriithi and 12 Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) have ditched the Jubilee Party and joined Narc Kenya.

Governor Ragwa and the Tharaka Nithi leaders were received by Narc Kenya leader, Martha Karua, at the party’s headquarters in Nairobi.

Speaking during the event, Ragwa claimed that they dumped Jubilee Party over fears that the party’s nominations will not be free and fair.

The leaders also accused Tharaka Nithi Gubernatorial aspirant, Petkey Miriti, of being influential in the area claiming that he is likely to sway the nomination in his favour.
