Kwale County experiences one of the highest number of teenage pregnancies. Often, the men responsible for the pregnancies escape legal punishment for their actions because the girls’ parents prefer to negotiate with the perpetrators with an agreement to marry the pregnant girl a popular settlement. But as Evelyn Wambui reports, some of the men behind the pregnancies are schoolboys too young for the responsibility of marriage and parenting.
