Kareem Virgo, a US-based photographer is utilizing his creativity to revive his business which had been brought to its knees by the new coronavirus.

Kareem who specializes in lifestyle and wedding photos is now using virtual photos to eke out a living and spread positivity during the lockdown.

Speaking to the Shaderoom, Kareem said the idea came to him after he saw DJ Nice host a successful Instagram live party.

“My wife came up with the idea of using the FaceTime photo feature and posing people as we do during our in-person photo shoots. We asked some friends if we could test it on them and to our surprise it not only worked but it was a lot of fun!”

To make it work, he calls his clients on video-call and takes snapshots of the screen which he then edits to get stunning photos.

Kareem now says the coronavirus effects should be a wake-up call to businesses to employ their creativity in keeping their business moving.
