This Twitter user posed a simple question and people bared their souls

Kenyans, and humans in general, are usually very fragile beings who have a lot going on in their lives but lack someone to open up to.

Sometimes you want so to talk to someone so bad about your genuine wins and shortcomings in life but you’re afraid of how they’ll react or who they will pass it on to.

And, sometimes as well, people do not open up because other people do not make them feel comfortable enough in their space to share their problems.

When that happens, most Kenyans take to social networking sites such as Instagram, Facebook or Twitter to open up to a bunch of strangers they know will never judge them; because, sometimes, even strangers are just friends you have never met before.

And so Kenyan Twitter user @CarolineSpencer tested this theory the other day with just a simple question:

“Nini inasumbua roho yako.” (Loosely translated to: What disturbs/ails your heart?)

Most of the responses on her comments section were so emotional a few users started posting GIFs of tissues and hugs.
