Thousands in Nyeri for Sister Nyaatha’s Beatification

Already, hundreds of Christians are at Dedan Kimathi university where the historic event is taking place.

During the vigil prayers on Friday, sister Stefani was remembered as merciful, loving and humble.

The beatification process began in 1985 after investigations into her life began.

Sister Stefani died in 1930 aged 39.

Sister Stefani will be declared a Blessed after today's beatification ceremony.
