Three arrested as 515 stolen mobile phones recovered
Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) based in Kamukunji, Nairobi, have arrested three suspects for allegedly dealing in stolen mobile phones.
The detectives raided the suspects’ shop within Muoroto on Jogoo road where they recovered 515 stolen mobile phones.
The trio were placed into custody as they were unable to account for the phones in their possession.
They are now set to appear in court where they will be charged with being in possession of stolen property; the items will be presented as exhibit.
