Three arrested for allegedly selling stolen vehicles in Meru

Detectives from the Flying Squad unit of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have arrested three suspects believed to be in the business of selling stolen motor vehicles.

20-year-old Nicholas Opiyo, a resident of Kariobangi North, 28-year-old Kelvin Oduor Demba from Baba Dogo and Patrick Mburugu, 36, were trailed to Meru where they were nabbed.

A vehicle model Toyota Fielder registration KCH 301R was also recovered during the intelligence-driven operation.

DCI detectives in Nairobi, meanwhile, also intercepted two motor vehicles with the same registration number.

The vehicles are presently being detained pending investigation.
