3 critically injured after ‘learner’ crashed into a Mercedes Benz on Langata Road
Three family members have sustained serious injuries after a car they were riding in collided with an oncoming vehicle on Langata road.
The victims include a couple and their child with reports saying they had driven from Mombasa Road before a vehicle with a learner’s sticker rammed their car.
Langata Police boss Gregory Mutiso confirmed the incident saying the victims had sustained serious injuries.
The scene where the accident occurred has had several accidents, some of them fatal, and is recognized by many residents as a black spot.
The victims were rushed to St Mary’s Hospital in Langata.
The Saturday afternoon accident caused a huge traffic snarl up on the usually busy highway.
Residents have urged the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) to erect speed bumps to prevent future accidents.
