Three dead after bus collides with van carrying sheep

Three people were on Thursday evening killed and others injured following an accident at Nangili on the Kitale-Eldoret highway.

According to witnesses who spoke to Citizen Digital, the accident occurred when a bus collided with a van carrying sheep.

The deceased are the drivers of both vehicles and one passenger.

Confirming the incident, Likuyani OCPD Boniface Lisiolo said the sheep were being ferried to Munyaka in Eldoret.

The injured have since been rushed to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret and others to the Likuyani County Hospital.
