Three dead, Nine Injured In Kitale Accident

Two people died on the spot while the third one was pronounced dead on arrival at Kimilili District Hospital.

The lorry driver, who is admitted at the hospital, said his brakes failed when he approached a corner, causing him to lose control of the vehicle after its front tyre burst.

The accident caused a traffic snarl-up along the busy road for hours.

Residents have complained that the area is becoming a black spot.

The bodies of the deceased have been taken to Kimilili District Mortuary.
