Three diplomats in accident on Nairobi-Mombasa highway

Three diplomats were Tuesday evening involved in a road accident at Lukenya area in Machakos County on the Nairobi — Mombasa highway.

Brenda Mudenda (Zambia Ambassador to Kenya), Duke Lephoko (Botswana Ambassador to Kenya) and Kama Wasa (Zambian diplomat) were heading to Nairobi from a meeting at Maanzoni lodge.

The accident involving three vehicles occurred after a trailer collided head-on with the vehicle carrying the Zambian diplomats, further causing a collision with a third car, which was carrying the Botswana diplomat.

The envoys were rushed to the Machakos Level 5 Hospital together with their drivers who sustained minor injuries.
