Three injured in fresh clashes in Trans Mara

Tension remains high in Nkararo-Enooretet border in Trans Mara, Narok County following renewed border clashes on Monday evening.

Fresh fighting between the Siria and Ruasi Ngishu clans last evening saw several people injured as the fighting run into the night.

Armed with bows and arrows, the two fighting groups engaged each other for the better part of Monday evening, over a piece of land in the border.

Citizen Digital has learnt that at least three people were injured and are recuperating in hospital.

On Sunday night, attackers stormed one of the homes along the volatile border and attacked a young school going boy raising tensions for the better part of the night spilling over to the Monday clashes.

Last month, more than 15 people suffered arrow wounds, with three more sustaining gun shot wounds in fighting for the same piece of land.

Locals along the border, have began fleeing their homes to safer homesteads for fear of more fighting.
