Three killed in Nairobi-Mombasa highway morning accident

Three people have been confirmed dead and six others injured after a road accident at Simba area on the Nairobi-Mombasa highway.

According to Makueni County Commissioner Mohammed Maalim, the Tuesday 7AM accident involving a matatu and a lorry occurred after the 14-seater matatu was rammed from behind.

The injured were rushed to Makindu hospital for treatment while the deceased were moved to the mortuary in the same facility.
