Three suspects linked to Ksh.1.8M robbery arrested in Kirinyaga

Police in Kirinyaga County have arrested three suspected criminals in Gichugu following a robbery incident.

The incident is said to have taken place at Githure Trading Centre.

Kirinyaga AP commander Chacha Marwa said residents cornered the three suspects before informing police officers based at Githure Chiefs Camp.

On Thursday morning, officers from Kianyaga Police Station led by Gichugu OCPD Hussein Hassan confirmed that the suspects also robbed another trader of Ksh1.8million.

The second robbery reportedly occurred at Manyatta Trading Centre in Embu county.
