Thuo Murder Suspects Denied Bail

This is after they were denied bail by High Court Judge Justice Roselyne Korir.

While delivering the ruling, the judge denied them bail on the grounds that if released, they may interfere with witnesses in the case.

She pointed out that the lawyer for the six suspects Cliff Ombeta had not provided her with sufficient grounds to release them on bond.

The accused persons in the case include the proprietor of Porkies Gardens Restaurant in Thika town where Thuo died.

The former Government Whip collapsed on the 17th of November last year before he died while being rushed to Aga Khan Hospital.

Police believe that one of the beers Thuo consumed at Club Porkies was laced with a pesticide.
