Tight Security Ahead of Sister Nyaatha’s Beatification

Preparations are underway at Dedan Kimathi University where the ceremony will take place.

Security has been heightened in Nyeri County as catholic faithful continue streaming into the county ahead of the historic event.

Top security officers led by Nyeri County Commissioner Michael ole Tialal have said that security has been heightened ahead of the beatification.

“Security officers have been deployed to various parts of the county,” said Mr Tialal.

“There have not been any security threats so far. We are ensuring maximum in the county as well as those neighbouring us.”
