TNA Holds Crucial Parliamentary Group Meeting

The TNA governors, senators and members of parliament are currently holed up at Weston hotel in Nairobi’s Langata area to deliberate on the issues among them the governors push for a referendum.

Party officials have warned of unspecified consequences against party members who will be seen to support the push for the referendum.

Among governors already present at the meeting are Nakuru County’s Kinuthia Mbugua, Embu’s Martin Wambora and Nyandarua’s Waithaka Mwangi.

The meeting comes as governors allied to TNA and ruling the Jubilee Coalition have been facing pressure to denounce calls by the governors’ council for a referendum to raise funds to counties.
