Tob Cohens sister describes Sarah Wairimu as charming, entertaining

Sarah Wairimu Kamotho was one entertaining and friendly person, that is according to Gabriele Cohen, sister of the late Tob Cohen, when she speaks of the main suspect in her brother’s murder case.

Tob Cohen’s body was retrieved from an underground water tank in his home 40 days after he went missing.

For Gabriele Cohen, the last two months have overran her emotional drivers, tugging her heart strings with fear of the unknown, following the disappearance of her elder brother.

But following the discovery of his body, she now says: “I was afraid it will take ten years, if you are missing you take 5 to 10 years, so this is great, yes, and nice that it was at this home.”

The mention of Sarah Wairimu Kamotho who is now infamous following Cohen’s death , barely draws any no emotions from Gabriele; perhaps an emptiness that cared less for another who might be linked to ending the life of her brother.

Despite the circumstances now, Sarah’s character is nothing compared to what she is now known for, well according to Cohen’s family.

“She was nice, charming, entertaining,” said Gabiele.

Roy Vanstraten, brother-in-law to the late 69-year-old Dutch businessman, on his part said: “She was a very nice lady, very well educated, very well spoken, different culture but we expect that… I can’t say anything negative, absolutely not.”

However it was not long after that Cohen opened up about his troubled marriage online.

“Sarah did this. Nobody else,” said Cohen in one such video sporting a bloodied forehead.

“She pushed him off a huge terrace in front of his house. He ended up down the stairs where she also attacked him with a chair. My fire response was ‘he is dead’,” added Gabriele.

The circumstances in which Tob Cohen’s body was discovered has lifted the lid on the validity of the investigations of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, loudly questioned by Sarah Wairimu’s counsel, Philip Murgor.

With one part of the puzzle already solved, that of having a body, the hurdle of piecing together how it was done, who was involved and why, is one thing that Gabriela would hope to have answers to.

“We might have the possibility of a funeral as soon, and then I need to go home….but definitely I will be back,” she further stated.
