Tobiko clears Auditor General Ouko over graft claims

Auditor General Edward Ouko can look forward to a peaceful weekend after the Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko overruled the anti-corruption commission recommendations to charge him over abuse of office. Tobiko says there is no evidence linking Ouko to the fraudulent acquisition of an audit software for his office. The DPP has, however, nodded to the prosecution of Ouko’s former deputy.
