Tobiko Orders Probe into State House Lawyer Disappearance

Tobiko directed CID director Ndegwa Muhoro to probe disappearance of State House deputy director in charge of constitutional and legislative affairs following a request by the Law Society of Kenya (LSK).

Muriuki was allegedly last seen on December 30th, 2013 along Pension Plaza, Loita street in Nairobi wearing a grey formal jacket and matching shirt and trousers.

The DPP has ordered the CID boss to conduct investigations and forward a complete file to his office for action after Law Sociey of Kenya also wrote to Inspector General of police Joseph Boinnet over disappearance of the State House lawyer.

Law Society of Kenya CEO Apollo Mboya says the matter was reported at central police station Nairobi on January 10th last year and the legal body is yet to get any update on investigations.
