Toll From Turkana Banditry Attack Hits 10

Death toll from the attack rose to ten after three more bodies of police reservists were recovered.

The bandits stormed the village at 2 am and shot indiscriminately injuring seven people before they drove away with more than 3,000 animals.

The injured were rushed to Lodwar district hospital.

 Turkana south area MP James Lomenen has condemned the killings saying that the government needs to do more to assure the residents of their security.

No bandit has been arrested so far.
