Top Banker Shot Dead In Nairobi

The 42 year old Peter Njuguna Mukuria was shot dead by unknown assailants as he picked a woman studying at Jomo Kenyatta University College of Agriculture and Technology near their Kianda School campus.

Police say the assailants gained entry into Mukuria’s car as he picked the 28 year old Margaret Nyawira.

The woman, Nyawira who is married is currently being held in police custody at Kabete police station.

According to Dagoreti police Chief Mathew Gwiyo, the husband of the woman has already recorded a statement with the police.

He added that the wife of the deceased has not appeared before them to record a statement as yet.
