Top CNN anchor Richard Quest begins Kenya tour with Kipchoge
CNN’s Richard Quest began his Kenya tour with top athlete Eliud Kipchoge in Nairobi.
Quest arrived in the country on Monday morning and hit the ground running, quite literally.
The two renowned personalities went to Karura Forest in Nairobi for a morning run, after which they sat down for an interview.
Kipchoge broke the world record in the Berlin Marathon in September this year clocking 2 hours, 01 minute and 39 seconds.
This is the first time that Richard Quest is visiting Kenya.
“I have never been to Nairobi, or even Kenya. As someone who travels almost constantly, this is a serious omission on my part. It is certainly not by design,” he wrote in the Daily Nation.
He has however visited other African countries such as Nigeria.
The CNN anchor hosts a popular international show Quest Means Business and launched a new program in July known as World of Wonder.

On Tuesday morning, Richard Quest is expected to hold another interview with journalists at Capital FM.
Later this week, his show Quest Means Business will go live from Kenya as he prepares to join passengers on the inaugural Kenya Airways flight to New York on October 28.
468 passengers are expected to be on the historic flight, among them, two young innovators: Shirlene Nafula and Evans Wadongo.
President Uhuru Kenyatta will flag off the flight from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).
