Tout released on Sh20,000 bond after failing to pay Sh10 toilet charge

A tout has been released on a Sh20,000 cash bail after he denied beating up a city public toilet attendant who confronted him for not paying Sh10 after using the washroom.

It is alleged that on July 5^th 2015, the accused, Kennedy Simiyu Kuloba, assaulted Joseph Irungu and caused bodily harm.

The incident occurred at Timboroa lane in Nairobi.

Simiyu told a Nairobi Milimani Senior Principal Magistrate Charity Oluoch that he acted in self defence when Irungu started assaulting him.

He further narrated that he responded to the assault by delivering blow’s on Irungu’s face then reported the matter to the police.

The case will be mentioned on August 17^th 2015.
