Traders counting losses after shops are razed down
More than ten shops were today (Monday) razed down by a huge fire at Ayany area in Kibra, Nairobi.
According to Kibra Sub-county AP boss Enos Maloba, no one was injured in the 4am incident.
Maloba however says that the fire has left locals and business owners counting huge losses as nothing was salvaged.
It is suspected that the inferno was caused by an electric fault with residents being urged to be extra-careful when using electric appliances.
The Nairobi County Fire brigade has since put out the fire.
