Traffic flow restored along Londiani Muhoroni Road

Traffic flow has been restored along Londiani – Muhoroni road after heavy downfall in Nandi Hills swept the main Konyango bridge affecting vehicular movements in the area.

Kenya National Highways Authority (KENHA) Regional Manager Eng Joachim Nyamwaro said the authority has secured the area and is appealing to motorists to follow the signage at Londiani and Kipsitet.

In a statement to the media, Nyamwaro said the authority has created two diversions to ease movement in the busy area and urged motorists to exercise caution while approaching the affected road.

KENHA is at the same time constructing a temporary bridge in the affected section.

“The road was cut off after a heavy rainfall in Nandi Hills which destroyed armco culverts in Muhoroni,” said Nyamwaro.
