Tragedy strikes as seven killed, over 25 injured in grisly accident

Seven people have died and at least 25 others injured in a fatal accident that involved a Public Service Vehicle (PSV) bus and a trailer at Hill Tea area near Timboroa along the busy Eldoret – Nakuru Highway.

Confirming the incident, Eldama Ravine police boss, Agnes Kamau, said that the accident involved a Kakamega-bound Crown Company bus and a truck.

“Police are currently continuing with rescue operations. Four among the seven dead are children,” said the police boss.

The injured were rushed to different hospitals in Eldoret town, several kilometers from the scene of accident, for treatment.
