TRAGEDY STRIKES! Over ten feared dead as 11 vehicles burnt in Naivasha

Over 10 people are feared dead after a tanker transporting petroleum exploded near Karai area in Naivasha along the busy Nairobi – Nakuru highway ramming into 11 vehicles.

The flames from the burning lorry quickly spread to the vehicles which have since been burnt beyond recognition.

The accident has caused a massive traffic snarl up on the highway that serves major towns in the Rift Valley region and neighbouring countries.

According to sources, the tanker rammed into the vehicles before exploding.

Police are, however, yet to give an official communication on the cause of the accident, the casualties and the number of vehicles burnt.
