Trans Nzoia County Disburses Fertilizer Worth 30M

The  county government has disbursed subsidized fertilizer worth 30 million to help poor farmers in the county in bid to boost food production the county.

The fertilizer which will be distributed through the  local administrations office, is aimed at boosting the agricultural potential of small scale farmers in the county.

Speaking during the launch, trans Nzoia governor Patrick Khaemba noted that due to negligence, the agricultural potential of the county was decreasing with farmers income dwindling over the years.

Khaemba said his countygovernment has put measures that will see the revival of the sector.
