VIDEO: Treasury, AG to meet IEBC Commissioners for talks over send off package

Talks to determine a send-off package for the nine IEBC commissioners are set to begin next week. This is according to national treasury cabinet secretary Henry Rotich who says the talks that will also involve the attorney general’s office will focus on determining the parameters of the exit package. Meanwhile national assembly speaker Justin Muturi declared the parliamentary service commission cannot nominate members of a selection panel to pick new commissioners until next month. This even as the status of electoral reforms became unclear amid fears that failure to have new commissioners by Friday next week could derail the process.
