Tree falls onto moving car in Machakos

One person was injured after a tree fell onto the car he was driving at Susu Centre-Industrial Road in Machakos town.

Alex Musembi, a bodaboda operator, said he was on the same road when he heard his passenger shouting that a tree was falling.

“As I was cycling behind the car, my customer shouted ‘Mti inaanguka,” he said.

In an unexpected move, the passenger jumped off the moving motorcycle and fled fearing for his life.

According to Musembi, the car that was involved in the Machakos accident had two passengers inside.

“The man who was driving the car was injured on the head. The woman who was with him rushed him to Machakos Level 5 Referral Hospital,” he said.
