Tributes continue to pour in for Nkaissery

Tributes have continued to pour in from leaders across the country for the late Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery who died suddenly on Saturday morning.

The Council of Governors Chairperson Josphat Nanok and West Pokot Senator John Lonyangapuo said the county has lost a hard working leader.“The late CS will be remembered for his tireless efforts to tame insecurity in Turkana and West Pokot and in the country at large,” the lawmakers said.

Speaking at Kapsabet Showground in Nandi during Prayer Day for Standard Eight and Form Four,  Senator Stephen Sang eulogized late Internal Security CS Nkaissery as a dedicated leader who worked hard to ensure peace prevails in the country.

Elsewhere, in Trans-Nzoia County leaders during the launch of cash transfer program for elderly persons led by Water and Irrigation Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa described the late Nkaissery as hard working and dedicated leader whose services will be missed by the Nation.

“As a nation, we have lost a dedicated public servant and I urge political leadership in the country to honour him by desisting from engaging in hate politics,” said Eugene.

Kiminini MP Chris Wamalwa described Nkaissery as a humble leader who demonstrated the ability of restoring the country’s security.
