TSC promotes 16,152 teachers countrywide in final phase of 2017 CBA

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has promoted 16,152 teachers countrywide in the final phase of the 2017 Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

The commission, in a statement released on Friday, said the promotions were made following successful interviews, adding that letters of the outcome will be sent out soon.

“The Teachers Service Commission has promoted 16,152 teachers following successful interviews conducted in December 2020 and February 2021. The interviews are part of the final phase of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) that has been implemented since 1st July 2017,” read the statement.

“Letters on the outcome of the interviews are in the process of being sent to all teachers who were interviewed. Teachers are cautioned to be wary of fraudsters purporting to have ability to influence the outcome of the interviews.”

It further added: “The Commission will communicate to all teachers who were interviewed through the existing official communication channels.”
