TSC: Students Should Not Repeat Classes
TSC chief executive Gabriel Lengoiboni says the commission has received numerous complaints from parents and guardians on such cases and will take drastic action against school heads involved in Primary and Secondary schools.
In a circular to all school heads, Lengoiboni noted that some learners are even forced to transfer to other schools due to poor performance.
He says that this act is illegal based on the code of regulations for teachers.
TSC has told parents and guardians affected by such actions to report to their respective TSC county directors for action.
He has advised teachers to instead work to help poor performing learners improve.
