Tunois accuser could have secretly paid visits to his office

The tribunal investigating bribery claims facing suspended Supreme Court Judge Philip Tunoi on Wednesday heard that Tunoi’s accuser Geofrey Kiplagat could have paid secret visits to Tunoi’s office.

Judiciary Ombudsman Kenneth Bidali who was appearing before the tribunal says according to his own investigation, Kiplagat could have made unrecorded visits to the office of the suspended Judge.

Tunoi’s lawyer Fred Ngatia now wants the National Intelligence Service (NIS)to be summoned by the Shard Rao led tribunal over a report tabled before the tribunal by Bidali which he claims is from NIS.

The tribunal adjourned it’s sitting to Thursday morning, to allow for video evidence tabled to be transcribed.
