Tuskys in court over alleged sale of counterfeit goods

Tuskys Supermarket has been dragged to court and charged for trading counterfeit goods.

It is alleged that on January 20, 2017, Tusker Mattresses Ltd (Tuskys), in the course of trading was found to have in possession counterfeit goods namely WALH professional balding clippers (shaving machines) worth Ksh 121,000.

In the matter, Tuskys administrator and a branch manager appeared in court on behalf of the supermarket before a Nairobi Chief Magistrate, Francis Andayi, where they denied the allegations.

They were both released on Ksh 50,000 cash bail with an alternative bond of similar amount.

The case will be mentioned on May 20, 2017.
