Twin Blasts Rock Gikomba Market in Nairobi

According to the national disaster operations center, the first explosive was hurled into a 14-seater matatu at a stage and the other one hurled inside a shop.

Police have however arrested two suspects out of the three who are said to have hurled the two explosive devices.

Those injured have been rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital as more emergency operations continue at Gikomba market.

Speaking from State House during a media briefing moments ago, President Uhuru Kenyatta has vowed to continue with the anti-terror war.

Kenyatta has further urged members of the public to remain vigilant and report anything suspicious to the authorities.
