Two arrested as cocaine worth Ksh.11M nabbed in Kisauni
Police on Saturday nabbed three kilograms of cocaine worth over Ksh.11 million at a private residence in Kisauni, Mombasa County.
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, the drugs were nabbed in a multi agency operation, following a tip off from members of the public.
Two suspects, Juma Suleiman (47) and Bashur Omar (59) were also arrested during the raid.
The cocaine had been hidden in a suitcase.
“Following intelligence, detectives recovered a suitcase from the residence of the accused persons containing assorted clothings.
“Upon further search they discovered false bottoms on the sides of the suitcase containing a whitish substance that tested positive for cocaine,” said the DCI.
