Two bodies found dumped in Kiambu bush

Two bodies were Tuesday evening found dumped at a bush along Kimbo-Rwera Road in Juja, Kiambu County.

The  bodies were found by guards of a nearby coffee farm who then reported the matter to the police.

Juja OCPD Simon Thirikwa confirmed the incident indicating that the bodies had decomposed beyond recognition.

“The bodies seem as if acid was poured on them, we will however conduct a postmortem to confirm what happened,” he said.

“We have began our investigations on the issue but we highly suspect the victim was killed elsewhere and the body dumped here.”

The OCPD appealed to families who have lost their members to avail themselves at the City mortuary where the bodies were moved.

Area residents reported that this was not the first time dead bodies were found in the area.

They appealed for more patrols along the bushy road that is used as a bypass by residents of Kibichoi, Kiamwangi and Gathage villages.
