Two dead, 19 injured after bus loses control, rams into multiple vehicles
Two people were killed and 19 others injured after a Kenya Bus Service (KBS) bus lost control and rammed into six other vehicles on Tuesday evening.
The accident occurred after the KBS bus driver reportedly lost control and ran over pedestrians before ramming into the other vehicles, including a Loreto Convent Valley Road school bus, at Haile Selassie Avenue near Uhuru Park.
According to a statement issued by St. John Ambulance Kenya following the 4pm accident, eighteen casualties were rushed by to Nairobi Hospital while one other patient was taken to Kenyatta National Hospital.
