Two people on Wednesday morning died on the spot after their car rammed a stalled tanker on Southern bypass within Lang’ata in Nairobi.
Confirming the incident, Lang’ata sub-county Commander Gregory Mutiso said the two young men could have been driving at an alarming speed when they hit the stationery tanker from behind.
According to witnesses who spoke to Citizen Digital, the duo was allegedly drunk driving.
The bodies of the deceased have since been transferred to City morgue even as police caution against overspeeding during this festive season.
