Two dead in Mombasa Road accident

Two people died and several others injured after an Imara Daima estate bound bus overturned along the busy Mombasa Road in Nairobi Monday night.

According to Nairobi Traffic boss Leonard Katana, the driver of the 32-seater bus, belonging to Indimanje Sacco attempted to overlap resulting to the accident.

Several people were trapped beneath the bus for hours before being rescued by different emergency agencies.

The accident led to a traffic snarl up of more than two hours with some motorists opting for other routes.
